The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup was a spectacular month for Real Madrid supporters and football fans alike. Entering the inaugural tournament with a new manager, minimal training time, and a squad full of uncertainties after a trophyless season, most Madridistas tempered their expectations. Yet, Real Madrid delivered an inspiring performance, reaching the semifinals before falling to reigning Champions League winners, PSG.
Though the 4-0 defeat stung, it did little to dim the team’s impressive showing or the excitement for the season ahead. The Club World Cup offered a unique stage to witness the global passion for football, but one truth stood out above all: America is Madridista!
A Nationwide Wave of Madridismo
Real Madrid’s matches were among the most attended at the Club World Cup, drawing millions of fans nationwide. The club led in ticket sales, averaging over 65,000 attendees per match with stadium capacities reaching or exceeding 80%—far surpassing teams like Manchester City and PSG, which averaged around 50,000 fans per game. Despite FIFA’s challenges with ticket sales, Real Madrid’s games commanded premium prices, ranging from $132 to $310, a testament to their passionate American fanbase.
From coast to coast, Real Madrid fan clubs, including our beloved Peña Madridista Miami Blanco, hosted vibrant events, welcoming Madridistas from around the world to celebrate this historic tournament. Pregame gatherings, watch parties, and tailgates transformed every match into a virtual home game, with players showing their gratitude by lingering after matches and training sessions to sign autographs and take photos with fans. The club also organized events with Peñas Madridistas, where supporters met and interacted with former Real Madrid legends, adding to the excitement.

- Welcome Party: On June 13, the eve of Real Madrid’s opening match against Al Hilal at Hard Rock Stadium, Peña Madridista Miami Blanco kicked off the Club World Cup in style by hosting a spectacular welcome party at 305 Sports Bar. Decked out in Real Madrid colors, the venue buzzed with excitement as fans donned white jerseys, waved club flags, and sang anthems long into the night. The welcome party set the tone for the tournament, uniting fans and turning Miami into a second home for Real Madrid and its supporters.
- Tailgate Extravaganza: The next day, hours before Real Madrid’s first game, our Peña hosted an electrifying tailgate at Hard Rock Stadium. The parking lot became a sea of white as hundreds of Madridistas gathered, savoring traditional Spanish paella and Miami-inspired dishes. Local supporters connected with international fans, exchanging stories of their devotion to Los Blancos and forging unforgettable memories. With club anthems blaring and Peña flags flying, the festive atmosphere continued post-match as fans returned for lively discussions and fueling excitement for the tournament ahead.
- Party Bus: For the July 1st round of 16 match against Juventus, Peña Madridista Miami Blanco elevated the fan experience by providing a party bus that shuttled supporters to and from Hard Rock Stadium. Adorned in Real Madrid colors and blasting the club’s anthem, the bus was a rolling celebration that turned heads across Miami. Fans boarded with Peña scarves and flags, enjoying onboard entertainment like a live DJ, and created a festive atmosphere even before arriving at the stadium. The return trip was electric, with fans chanting in celebration of the 1-0 victory, driven by Gonzalo’s stunning goal. The party bus made the match day unforgettable, proving that Madridismo in Miami is a journey in itself.
